  • NCPDP Solicits PDMP Anecdotes
In order to have a better impact on policy makers, the NCPDP government affairs staff is trying to “humanize” the issues with existing PDMP programs.  The staff is asking for help from NCPDP members to provide anecdotes on how the current system is or is not working to benefit patients. Items of interest include:

    • Examples of patients not receiving treatment for a medical need.

    • Examples of doctor shopping, crossing state borders to obtain multiple prescriptions, etc.
If you would like to provide any anecdotes/examples, please de-identify and email nrussell@ncpdp.org.
