There are numerous advantages to becoming a member of the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs. By joining you
become an important part of the pharmaceutical industry's standards development process.
As an NCPDP member, you are entitled to:
- Attend NCPDP quarterly work group meetings at no charge (as a member)
- Attend NCPDP Educational Programs and Annual Conference at membership rates.
- Express views and concerns relating to standardization of third-party prescription drug programs
to a truly representative organization
- NCPDP's bi-weekly email, NCPDP NOW, with updates on the latest industry developments, including NCPDP
standards and meetings, legislative and HIPAA updates, and general industry news
- Receive the Council's Membership Directory, a membership identification card and a subscription to
Council Connection, the Council's quarterly magazine which updates members on NCPDP activities, projects,
industry news and other information. You also gain access to the Members Only area of NCPDP's website,
www.ncpdp.org, which provides details about NCPDP standards and standards development.
- Receive all current NCPDP standards as a new member, and receive updates as an existing member.
- Annual Membership Conference: each year, representatives from all facets of the prescription drug
industry gather to exchange ideas and accomplishments at the NCPDP Annual Membership Conference. It's an
excellent opportunity for NCPDP members to meet colleagues and keep abreast of changes in the industry.
