    MEMBERSHIP - GET INVOLVED

NCPDP Work Groups
The Work Groups are the place where all of the electronic standards for transmission of pharmacy data are created and modified. The Work Groups meet quarterly to discuss issues critical to pharmacy standards. For a complete listing of NCPDP Work Groups and Co-Chair contact information, click here.

Task Groups
In order to complete specific projects, NCPDP Work Groups often create Task Groups. These Task Groups meet via conference call and emails and report their progress during the quarterly Work Group Meetings. Since Task Groups have no voting privileges, non-NCPDP members are welcome to participate. Specific subject matter experts are highly encouraged to participate. For a complete listing of the NCPDP Task Groups, click here.

NCPDP Buddy Program
If you are a seasoned member, you can make a difference for new members by serving as a Buddy. The Buddy Program helps new members navigate the organization, access resources, connect with members who share their interests, and get actively involved in work group activities. As a Buddy, you will gain additional networking opportunities and be recognized for your contribution that helps strengthen NCPDP. Buddy program participants must have at least three years of NCPDP membership; be familiar with the NCPDP website and accessing work group documents; have the ability to answer questions about voting procedures; and attend one or more work group meetings each year. To volunteer complete the sign-up sheet (link to form online) or contact Jenny Powers, Manager, Membership Services at 480-477-1000, ext. 143 or email jpowers@ncpdp.org.
